Bursk’s Works -

An evening of poetry and music to celebrate the life and works of Dr. Christopher Bursk.

On Friday, April 25th at 7:30 pm, Bucks County Community College’s Wordsmiths Series will host pianist Jeff Baumeister of BCCC's School of Music, who has written songs based on the poetry of beloved Bucks professor, mentor, and poet Dr. Christopher Bursk (1943-2021).

The songs are a mix of styles, including rock, funk, jazz, folk, and gospel. The band consists of the college’s music faculty and alumni.

In addition, the current Bucks County Poet Laureate, Lake Angela will choreograph and perform a dance interpretation of one of Professor Jeff Baumeister’s original musical compositions.


Proceeds benefit the Keri Barber Scholarship Fund.
