Tell the Story of the Younger You
in Poetry or Flash Non-Fiction

A Writing Workshop

with Lynn Levin

Thursday, September 21, 2023

4-6 pm

Think back on the humorous, profound, or even disturbing moments of your younger years. Everyone has a story to tell. Together we will read some poems and flash non-fiction pieces in which writers capture scenes of their youth. After a discussion of the approaches used by these representative writers, you will write a poem of any length or a memoir of one or several paragraphs that recounts an episode from your younger days. We will share our work together in a spirit of mutual support and appreciation.
